An introduction to the sculpture, architecture, painting, and minor arts made by ancient Greek artists from the time of the Minotaur to the fall of Cleopatra. Emphasis on analyzing artistic expressions of changing cultural values with attention to social, religious, and political ideas and ideals. Prerequisite: One 100-level course in art history.
